4. Myth: Stretching Before Exercise Prevents Injury

Fact: While stretching improves flexibility, it does not necessarily prevent injuries before exercise. Dynamic warm-ups that mimic the movements of the exercise to be performed are more effective in preparing the muscles .


5. Myth: If You’re Not Sore, You Didn’t Work Out Hard Enough

Fact: Muscle soreness, or DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness), is not a reliable indicator of workout effectiveness. It’s possible to have an effective workout without experiencing significant soreness, especially as your body adapts to the routine .



6. Myth: More Exercise Always Means Better Results

Fact: Overtraining can lead to injuries, burnout, and decreased performance. The body needs time to recover, and rest is as important as the exercise itself for achieving results .
